Department of Child Health Nursing
Department of Pediatric nursing has a competent post graduate nursing faculties, graduate nursing tutors and well trained clinical instructors.
Pediatric nursing department is dovetail nicely with the S.S.Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center’s pediatric department where pediatric doctors and all nurses teach our students in clinical setting.
According to the syllabus students will be exposed to estimated hours of clinical posting during which a wide range of pediatric nursing procedures and clinical case presentation are taught. Meanwhile, certain health talks will be organized by the students for the patients and their families to impart basic knowledge regarding preventable diseases and home remedial measures.
The departmental library is well embellished with the latest edition of books, National & International journals. Throughout the year academic activities like CME, workshops and conferences are being conducted under the guidance of doctors and our college PG faculties.
